Jonathan Stueckle and his mother, Cheryl, were overnight guests at the home of his grandparents, David and Phyllis Stueckle, last week. Jonathan was on his way to combined Ft. Lewis-McChord base for a scheduled meeting and took a side trip to see his grandmother, Phyllis, who is in the Whitman Hospital and Medical Center. His mother, Cheryl Stueckle, Coeur d’Alene, had picked him up at the Spokane Airport and brought him to the Dusty area to visit and spend the night. He flew out the next day, attended his meeting and returned to his home in Boston, Mass.

Recently, Harm and Jan Smith spent a week with grandson Micah in Yakima while his parents were away. Harm enjoyed coaching fourth and fifth grade basketball teams while there and reports they both won.
