County Cattlemen offer scholarships

Whitman County Cattlemen’s Association will offer one or more scholarship awards this year. For more than 20 years the association has promoted agriculture by offering scholarships.

High school seniors (or home school equivalent) who reside in Whitman County and plan on continuing their course of study in an agriculture-related field are encouraged to apply.

Each scholarship awarded will be no less than $1,000. The WCCA can increase the amount of a scholarship and/or the number of scholarships awarded. Application deadline is April 1, 2018. Applications are available from Whitman County high school counselors, via email request to wcca2011@gmail.com and at the following link: extension.wsu.edu/whitman/youth/forms.
