For 14 minutes, the Eagles did not score while Colton scored 27 points. Victory would soon come Jan. 26 at St. John. Jordyn Moehrle scored 16 points to lead the Wildcats while Georgia Meyer and Abby Kelly had nine rebounds each.
Pomeroy 48, Garfield/Palouse 43
Gar/Pal led at halftime 27-23 but could not hold Pomeroy off in a loss at Palouse.
Maddy Dixon led the Pirates with 14 points and 13 rebounds. Katie Arrasmith paced Gar/Pal with 18 points while Paige Collier scored seven and Payson Griner six.

Playing at home Jan. 27, Sydney Smith led Pomeroy with 15 points in the Pirates’ second 1B league win over Oakesdale this season. Maddy Dixon added seven rebounds. Lizzie Perry led Oakesdale with 16 points while Logan Reed added 13 and Emma Perry nine.
Colton 83, Waitsburg 9
Nine players scored for the Wildcats in a home win in which the score was 56-1 at halftime.
Dakota Patchen led Colton with 19 points while Josie Schultheis scored 17, Emily Schultheis had 11. Abby Kelly added eight points and eight rebounds while Jordyn Moehrle posted nine assists and five steals.
