An April 2 trial date was set in court for Marquise Leonard, 22, Pullman, after he pleaded not guilty in superior court Friday morning to two charges of first degree robbery involving a firearm and unlawful possession of a firearm. Judge Gary Libey noted Leonard faces class A felony charges which could lead to a prison term if he is convicted.
Pullman police at 6:48 p.m. Friday responded to a report on Terre View Drive. The reporting party said Leonard saw three males walking along a trail with bandanas hanging out of their pockets and decided they were showing colors in a gang mode. Leonard allegedly climbed out of a car and threatened them with a pistol if they did not drop the bandanas.
The investigation report said the pistol was later found at the residence where Leonard was residing along with two bandanas.
