Choir students win at regional

Fifteen Colfax High School choir students placed first at the Regional Solo & Ensemble Festival Feb. 3 in Pullman. The students were judged by members of the WSU music department faculty. The first place winners will now perform at the state solo-ensemble in April at Central Washington University in Ellensburg.

Winners are as follows: Solos: Alto -Jullene Sager, Soprano -Ashley Goebel.

Ensemble-Treble Duet: Sara Whelchel and Ashely Goebel; Treble Large Group-Liz Harwood, Allison Pugh, Kari Largent, Jenna Harwood, Ashley Goebel, Madison Overby, Hayden Fulfs, Breeaunna Byrd, Sara Whelchel, Jullene Sager and Tayma Vanek.

Mixed Duet-Cole Baerlocher and Ashley Goebel; Mixed Ensemble-Dylan Nails, Dane Hall, Johnathan Nelson, Cole Baerlocher, Ashley Goebel, Tayma Vanek, Liz Harwood, Sara Whelchel, Hayden Fulfs, Jenna Harwood, Breeaunna Byrd, Jullene Sager.
