Pullman Police Department, Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security will host a one-day workshop to enhance preparedness against active shooter incidents. The sessions will be March 14 at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories Faraday Hall, 1825 Schweitzer Drive, Pullman.
Subjects will include developing an emergency action plan with guidance from expert instructors; identifying strengths, weaknesses, and gaps in physical security and planning; learning how to prevent active shooter incidents by recognizing behavioral indicators, and understanding the history of significant active shooter incidents through survivor stories and expert perspectives
