Sealed bids will be received on the following proposal by the Board of County Commissioners of Whitman County, State of Washington, at its office in the Whitman County Courthouse in Colfax, Washington, until 11:00 a.m. Pacific Time, on March 5, 2018 at which time they will be opened and publicly read. Handicap access may be obtained by the Mill Street entrance to the Courthouse.

Each bid is to be separately sealed in an envelope addressed to the Board of County Commissioners with the name of the bidder and item bid, including time and date of opening written plainly on the outside of the envelope.

Colfax School District is requesting qualifications for engineering services from interested firms for various capital projects -beginning in spring 2018. Qualification information should be submitted no later than 4:00 p.m. March 23, 2018, to Colfax School District, attn: Jerry Pugh-Superintendent-1207 N. Morton St., Colfax, WA 99111.

Interested firms with recent experience in the following disciplines are requested to submit qualifications, separately or together: Topographic Survey, Geotechnical Investigation, Traffic Engineering, Construction Special Inspections and Testing, Hazardous Material testing.

In order to be considered, interested firms should submit 2 copies of their qualifications statement, addressing:

- Firm background and qualifications.

- References with names and phone numbers of contacts.

Resumes of key individuals providing service, including project specific information.

Availability to immediately commence work.

The qualifications package should not exceed (10) 8.5” x 11” pages.

Colfax School District will review all applicants and select a roster of firms to secure services, based on project requirements.

Appointment Notice

A board member seat on the Palouse-Rock Lake Conservation District is available for appointment by the Washington State Conservation Commission.

Conservation district board supervisors are public officials who serve without compensation and set policy and direction for the conservation district.

An applicant must be a registered voter in Washington State, and may be required to own land or operate a farm.
