Cloaninger tops NE all-opponent roster

Colfax junior Carson Cloaninger of Colfax, second from the right in the first row, was named most valuable player for the NE boys all opponent team when the teams were announced on title night at the end of the district tournament at West Valley.

Other first team members in the front row, from the left, are Erik Farias of St. George’s, Justin Jeske and Issac Ottmar, both Liberty; Cade Peplinski of St. George’s, and Joshua Maynard, Northwest Christian.

Also, the last two players on the right end in the back row, Austin Howder of Springdale and Xander Workman of St. George’s were named to the first team.

Second team members in back starting from the left, are Bryce Kelly of Lind/Ritzville/Sprague, Peyton Buchanan of Davenport, Matt Thompson of Kettle Falls, Jake Gray of Northwest Christian, Craig Mueller of Tekoa/Rosalia, Thomas Martin of Asotin, Jaydon Soncarty of Colfax and Eli Engledow of Asotin.

Coaches award went to Ryan Peplinski of St. George’s.
