Registration is underway for Community College of Spokane classes at the Colfax Library provided through the ACT2 program. Enrichment classes set for this spring include "World War I Comes to the Palouse" by Richard Sola and "Intro to Ukulele Plus" with Scott Hallett of Colfax. Early registration is encouraged, classes can be cancelled if turnout is low.
"WWI Comes to the Palouse" will run each Tuesday, April 3 – 23, from 9:30 a.m. until noon. This class discusses the role the Palouse played in the war as well as events before the U.S. entered the conflict in April of 1917. Cost of the class series is $25.
"Intro to Ukulele Plus" will be Wednesdays, April 4 – 25, from 6 until 7:30 p.m. Cost is $18 and all levels of players are encouraged to participate. The library can provide Ukuleles for those who want to borrow one for this class.
