Repp photo wins Sonoma contest

Kristin Repp’s photograph of San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge titled “Over the Bay” is displayed in the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art in Sonoma, Calif.

Sonoma Museum, in collaboration with Jack London State Historic Park, recently sponsored the “Jackseye-4-Adventure” photo contest. Kristin Repp’s photograph of the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge was chosen as a winner and her entry, “Over the Bay” is displayed in the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art in Sonoma, Calif.

Kimberly Gustafson returned home from Clements, Calif., near San Jose, where she’s been working over the winter at a ranch/training facility.

Di Brink and Joan Myrick spent part of the weekend with their cousin, Camille Patterson of Spokane Valley. They stayed with her Friday and Saturday, visiting and eating and generally having a great time.

Karen and Larry Light of Portland, daughter and son-in-law of David and Phyllis Stueckle, arrived last Thursday and stayed until Sunday. They were able to see Phyllis’s new digs at the Courtyard.

Sunday, Karen Broeckel attended the birthday party for her two-year old great-great-niece, Murphy Nolan, at her family’s home, Andrew and Emily Nolan and Lauren, Grady and Holden, in Spokane. Other Whitman County attendees included great-grandma, Jeanette Nolan and grandparents, Greg and Gwen Nolan, all of Colfax. Later in the day, Todd and Jamie Kinley and Jon Jon, Colfax, also stopped in for a short visit.
