Baerlocher gets 2B state honor

Coach Corey Baerlocher has been named Washington state Coach of the Year for the 2B division by the Washington State Girls Basketball Coaches Association.

Baerlocher led the Colfax girls to the state 2B title March 3 in the Spokane Arena. The team compiled a 23-4 record on the season.

Baerlocher was also named NE League Coach of the Year at the NE district finals at West Valley. He shared that honor with Coach Stacia Soliday of Davenport and Coach Talara Frost of Northwest Christian.

Baerlocher has compiled a record of 366-89 in 16 years of coaching at Colfax and has now led four Bulldog teams to state titles.
