Getting down and dirty

LaCrosse elementary students get their hands dirty in the name of science. FFA members Madison Blankenship, Jordanne Webb and Mashayla Morris taught the kindergarten and MAC I classes about the different soil particle sizes. Students had to get a little muddy feeling the differences between sand, soil and clay particles. The FFAers are working the with LaCrosse elementary school to present three lessons on soil science. They will then do a presentation on the lessons at the FFA state convention.
