Kendra Mathia spent most of her childhood in Mesa, Ariz., but found herself on the Palouse as a young adult.

Just a little more than three years ago, she walked into church in Pullman.

It was just an ordinary day for some, but for Kendra it was a day that changed her life, more so than any other.

It was on January 11, 2015, that she was introduced to Jance Mathia.

Kendra and Jance were immediately drawn to each other.

Kendra describes that day as one full of conversation and friendship.
