Palouse Sunshine run from May 5

In honor of Davis Collier, who died Jan. 13 at age 16 in a sledding accident near her home at Newburgh, Ind., Palouse will host the Sunshine In Motion Fun Run May 5. The run for two and five kilometers is being planned in cooperation with her parents, Keith and Leanne Collier of Newburgh.

All proceeds of the run will benefit an organization of their choosing to be announced later.

Davis Collier was born in Moscow and lived her early years with her family in Diamond. They later live in Omak before moving to Alabama and then to Newburgh.
