State drops rabbit case

Aaron Garcia, 22, Colfax resident who was arrested May 21 on a probable charge of animal cruelty, was allowed release without any conditions after a first appearance in court the next day.

Deputy Prosecutor Merritt Decker informed the court they will not file any charges against Garcia. Decker noted they did not have enough evidence to file a charge.
