Bridge crane work contracted

The Whitman County Public Works department has chosen a $9,200 quote from Rose Crane and Rigging of Spokane for work at two bridge sites to put in girders. The first project, the Glenn Miller Bridge, began June 18 in the Rock Lake area. Work on the Whelan Bridge north of Pullman is set to begin in July.

Both are one-day projects for the crane work....
