Amber, Kloey, Ellie and Nick Brink arrived at the home of their grandparents, Larry and Di Brink, July 1. They stayed the week and attended Vacation Bible School at the LaCrosse Methodist Church. They also made a birthday cake for their great aunt, Joan Myrick, Tuesday, and Joan and Lucky came to the Brink home to share it. They returned to their home in Omak Friday.
Vacation Bible School in LaCrosse was a huge success, with 30 children present for most of the week. Volunteers from LaCrosse and Dusty made it a great time for the participants.
Ed and Joan Broeckel met daughter and family, Amber, Dominic and Giulio Lovotti, and other friends at McCall, Idaho, from Friday until Monday to celebrate a belated Father’s Day and to relax before harvest.
Damien Perron visited with his grandmother, Fran Jones, and cousin, Sharon Urtaza, Saturday afternoon, July 7. He attended the wedding of a Colfax friend in the evening, then returned to his home in Whitefish, Mont., Sunday.
Reuben and Judy Stueckle, Puyallup, arrived at the home of brother David Stueckle. They plan on staying until Thursday, and attending the annual Stueckle cousin reunion at the home of Goldie Foss in Colfax on Tuesday.
Several members of the Dusty community attended memorial services in Spokane Saturday for LaCrosse native and brother of Judy Aune, Mike Leinweber.
Linda Wigen attended a Wigen family reunion Saturday at the home of Kevin and Rene Wigen in Rockford. Approximately 50 family members attended with one family coming from Pennsylvania.
