Berquist to compete in high school nationals

Caleb Berquist from LaCrosse, a senior at Colfax High School, has earned a position on the Washington State National High School rodeo team which will compete at Rock Springs, Wyo,. in the 70th edition of the National High School finals rodeo July 15-21. He will compete in tie down and team roping. Berquist was state reserve all-around winner and state team roping champion as header. The national rodeo will feature 1,650 contestants from 43 states, five Canadian provinces and from Australia and Mexico.
