Chaplain McMurray attends conference

Whitman County Sheriff’s Chaplain Ron McMurray attended the International Conference of Police Chaplains 45th annual training seminar in Lexington, Ky., July 9-13.

He took advanced courses covering police suicides, the Bullet Proof Mind, mindset of school shooters, the need for resiliency in law enforcement, survivor guilt and police burnout.

The week’s events included ICPC annual memorial service honoring all law enforcement officers who lost their lives in the line of duty, as well as a remembrance of chaplains who died during the preceding year.
