Jamisons mark 60th

Hollis and Helen Jamison marked their 60th anniversary July 12, 2018. They met while attending Washington State College and were married in Seattle July 12, 1958. They lived and farmed in the Garfield area their entire married life, raising wheat, barley, lentils and peas. The couple has been active in American Legion, OES, Grange, Daughters of the Nile, Whitman County Shriners, Masonic Lodge and the Garfield Christian Church Fellowship. They enjoy traveling, gardening and family gatherings at the lake. They have two children, Russell (Sandy) Jamison of Garfield, and Holly (Tom) Thomas of Spokane Valley. They have four grandchildren, Conrad Thomas, Jesse Thomas, Heidi Jamison and Mitch Jamison. The couple will celebrate their anniversary later this month with a gathering of friends and family.
