Whitcom Executive Board, which oversees the 911 dispatch center in Pullman, conducted a special closed meeting Wednesday to evaluate candidates to replace the Executive Director seat vacated by Patti Kelly’s retirement last January.
According to Pullman City Supervisor Adam Lincoln, board members spoke via phone with five candidates from around the country. The board will then narrow the field down to two or three candidates, Lincoln said. They will be invited to meet Whitcom members and local residents in person at a public session.
