Heppner rolls home after two-point win

The Mustangs from Heppner, Ore., departed Colfax late Friday night with a two-point win and sack lunches to tide them over for the four-hour trip back home. The smallest school with 11-man football in Oregon, Heppner took control of the game at Schmuck Park Friday night and held off a Bulldog charge for the 22-20 win.

The loss left Colfax at 2-2 in the season with a four -game run in the NE-South league left on the grid menu for the balance.
