St. John/Endicott/ LaCrosse moved to 8-4 overall and, 2-3 in the Southeast 1B league this week after four wins at the "Border Battle" tournament in Pomeroy and wins over Gar/Pal and Dayton/Waitsburg.
At home Tuesday night against Garfield/Palouse, the Eagles swept, 25-16, 25-13, 25-11.
Kenzi Pederson led with 10 digs, 7 kills and an ace. Roxy Dickerson had eight aces and 25 assists and Riley Lamb added 16 kills. Ashlynn Archer had 12 kills and Allyn Harder 12 digs.
Saturday, at Pomeroy, the Eagles beat Prairie, Genesee, Orofino and Kamiah, and lost to Troy in the 10-team tournament.
Before the tournament, Sept. 20, the Eagles beat Dayton/Waitsburg in four games 22-25, 25-13, 25-21, 25-10.
Roxy Dickerson had seven aces and 21 assists. Riley Lamb had nine kills and three blocks and Harder got 19 digs.
The Eagles will play next at Prescott Thursday at 6 p.m. followed by a trip to Spokane Saturday for the 64-team Linda Sheridan tournament.
Pomeroy swept Colton Tuesday 25-21, 25-8, 25-23 with Maddy Dixon hitting eight kills, and Deana Caruso adding seven.
Jordyn Moehrle had four kills and 10 digs and Emily Schultheis booked four blocks against the Pirates who added two wins to the hoop campaign this week.
Pomeroy defeated Prescott 25-9, 25-20, 25-10 in the Thursday league round.
Colton Thursday swept the Vikings at Garfield Palouse 25-9, 25-9 and 25-10 with Jordyn Moehrle rapping six kills, and Emily Schultheis hitting serving 11 aces. Schultheis also had three blocks on the Vikings' court.
Oakesdale Thursday defeated Touchet 25-14, 25-11 and 25-9 to remain undefeated in league play. The Nighthawks were led by Logan Reed who had 16 kills and eight aces. LouEllen Reed put up 24 assists and 14 digs for Oakesdale.
