Great Egrets at Turnbull

This Great Egret was photographed at the Turnbull Reserve near Cheney Oct. 1. Not quite as large as a great blue heron, they feed in a similar manner. A Spokesman-Review report noted a larger-than-average group of seven have been there for an unusually long time, more than two weeks, and are expected to leave any day.
