Art and Colene Sager spent the weekend attending the Prosser Balloon Festival. Flying Farmer friends from Alberta, Canada, and Oregon joined with their Washington friends. There were 17 members in all. High winds cancelled the night glow and the balloons were tethered and never took flight the next morning. Colene reported they still had a fun weekend.
Dick and Helen Appel attended the Washington State Sheep Producers meeting in Ellensburg Saturday. After they arrived back home, they drove to Pullman to a scout court of honor where their grandson, Zack Kunkel, received his Eagle badge.
First B.B. Club meeting of the 2018-2019 season will be Wednesday, Oct. 10, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the home of Terri Guenther on State Route 26, across from the old yellow barn.
