Colfax volleyball players, who have been on the road since the end of September, will return home today to face Genesee in a non-league match.
The Bulldogs will also host Ferris from the GSL Saturday and then have a league showdown with Asotin, the only NE-South team to claim a match win over the Bulldogs.
Genesee will arrive tonight with an 8-4 record after sweeping Potlatch Tuesday night in the finale of Idaho’s White Pine League. Molly Hanson, topped hitters for Genesee, by putting down with 11 kills at Potlatch.
Colfax will host the Idaho Bulldogs after booking league wins in their last two league stops on the run of matches on the road. They are now 7-1 in the NE-South with the lone loss to Asotin.
Tuesday Colfax defeated Reardan 26-24, 25-14 and 25-13 on the Indians court.
Kierstyn York hit six kills against the Indians, and Asher Cai rapped with aces. Anni Çox had 12 digs, Madi Cox and Kylie Kackman each had eight assists.
Last Thursday at Ritzville, Colfax rolled out a 15-9 win in the fifth game decider to defeat the Broncos. The win advanced the Colfax league mark to 6-1 in the NE-South with their lone loss to Asotin in the first round.
York hit 13 kills and put up five blocks against the Broncos in the long match.
Anni Cox had 11 digs and hit three aces, and Madi Cox had 13 assists.
