Five houses make county treasurer tax sale list

All five of the properties listed for the county's tax foreclosure action this year are houses. The annual tax foreclosure petition was filed in court Sept. 26 with notices posted by publication.

A sixth property which was initially listed, a lot in Wiley's addition to Palouse, was redeemed with payment of $1,607 listed due on the court filing.

Filed by Prosecutor Denis Tracy in civil court, the petition asks the court to foreclose liens which have been filed for payment of amounts due and issue foreclosure judgements.
