Virginia E. Main

A graveside service for Virginia E. Main, 81, resident of Palouse, was Saturday, Oct. 20, at Greenwood Cemetery in Palouse with Edwin Gray officiating. A reception followed the service at the Palouse Community Center.

Mrs. Main died Oct. 14, 2018, in Clarkston.

Born Nov. 13, 1936, in Palouse to George and Astor (Howard) Proctor, she attended schools in Palouse and was a member of the Palouse High School class of 1954.

She married Leonard Main Dec. 3, 1956, in Coeur d'Alene, and they made their home in Palouse. Virginia was a homemaker all her life.

A member of the Palouse Grange 177, she enjoyed cooking, camping and casinos.

Mr. Main died Sept. 4, 2018.

Survivors include her two sons, Rod (Tammy) Main of Palouse, and Mike (Donna) Main of Clarkston; one brother, Ted Proctor of Centralia, Wash .; one sister, Joanne Spangler of Osburn, Idaho; three grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
