Serving Whitman County since 1877
County Building Inspector Dan Gladwill presented a 2018 third quarter report to county commissioners Monday.
Total valuations for the July-September period added up to $3,045,294, with fees of $34,819. A total of 44 building permits were issued and 108 inspections completed. Commercial valuation was $538,079, which is included in total valuations.
“Pretty average, almost a high average,” said Gladwill.
He noted six single family homes were built and two mobile homes put in place.
For cluster developments around Pullman, approved by commissioners in the past two years, Gladwill mentioned that three to four of them now have at least two houses built.
“It’s working, there is a demand for it. It’s filling right up,” he said.
