Palouse plans benefit meal for injured Viking sophomore

A taco bar and silent auction fundraiser for Drake Davis, G/P High School sophomore, will be Nov. 7 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Palouse Community Center.

Davis sustained a severe leg injury in an ATV accident this summer. He has endured 14 surgeries, several blood transfusions, two skin grafts and a muscle transplant. He still has at least two more surgeries scheduled in Seattle. Palouse’s Young Life and members are hosting this fundraiser.

A children’s silent auction will be from to 7:30 p.m.
