Bluewood adds ski lift-top yurt

A 30-foot diameter yurt has been added to Bluewood for the upcoming ski season, according to today's edition of the Waitsburg Times. The $40,000 yurt has been located at the top of the Skyline chair lift and will have a fireplace and a propane grill. The yurt will offer food service to skiers who ride the chair lift to the top of the mountain, and the resort is applying for a beer and wine license.
