Scouting For Food this Saturday

Colfax Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts will conduct their annual "Scouting for Food" drive Saturday, beginning at approximately 9 a.m. Scouts and Cubs in Troop 595 distributed donation bags on Thorn Hill and the north end of town on Saturday, and scouts and cubs in Troop 550 will distribute bags in the southwest corner of town Wednesday after school.

The food donations will be taken to the food pantry in downtown Colfax. Last year, the scouts collected close to one ton of food in the drive.
