Homestead crew rolls to Meridian

Homestead Ministries Friday partnered with Ambrose Christian School in Meridian, Idaho, to make up 10,800 bags of soup totaling more than 80,000 servings with the help of grades K-12, 30 local volunteers and Idaho Governor Butch Otter.

The group took down all the product, spices, bags and labels for the assembly in four trailers. Those who traveled the eight-hour journey were Tom and Doreen Riedner, Greg and Gwen Nolan, Jon Webber, Bob and Norma Schulz, Chuck and Sharon Lyman, Peggy Zaring, Brian and Debbie Largent, Gary and Lisa Largent and Katie Largent.
