German dinner, auction draws a crowd

Endicott Community Club served approximately 210 at its German Dinner and Silent Auction. The auction items sold well.

Former resident Sharon Huff and daughter Sheryl Kyllo came from Anacortes to attend the German Dinner and visit with family and friends. They stayed with Sue Bafus.

Endicott Food Center's annual "Shop Local for the Holidays" event Nov. 11 had 13 vendors in attendance. Along with gift shopping, there were a lot of appetizers along with beverages.

Trinity Lutheran Church held its fifth Fall Concert at the church on Nov. 11. Louise Owens was in charge of the event. The people participating were: Pastor Gail Duba gave the welcome message; Kathy Schlomer and David Wells played an organ/piano duet; Melody Wise played the piano; Debbi Repp sang, Kira Maloney played the violin; Jana Mathia sang, and WSU student Raul Blanco played the piano. Because the program was shortened due to illness, Raul Blanco played several more pieces on the piano. After the concert, there was a reception in the Parish Hall for all to enjoy and visit.

The members of the Endicott Gun Club are busy getting ready for their annual Meat Shoot which will be on Nov. 18 at 9 a.m. They will be making sausage on Nov. 16, and on the 17th they will be packaging sausage, getting the club house ready and having their monthly meeting.
