Award winners at WAWG banquet

Evan Henning of Thornton and Lacey Miller of Ritzville made presentations on wheat related topics last weekend at the Tri-State Grain Growers Convention in Portland as finalists in the Ambassadors program. They were presented their awards at the Washington Association of Wheat Growers banquet. Henning was awarded a $2,500 scholarship, and Miller received a $2,000 scholarship. The awards are funded by the Washington Wheat Foundation. Both Evan and Lacey will participate in WAWG's advocacy trip to Olympia in January.
