Santa, holiday events slated for LaCrosse

Santa will be at the Gathering Place in LaCrosse Saturday, Dec. 8, from 10 until 11:30 a.m. The LaCrosse Business Group will provide muffins, juice and a stuffed animal for all the kids, plus pictures with Santa.

The LHS senior class will serve breakfast from 8 until 10 a.m. at The Gathering Place.

Also, a craft fair will be in the LaCrosse Café building from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

A pool tournament will be that evening at the Pastime Tavern. A signup sheet is located at the tavern. Entrants can also call Allan Thompson.

An ugly Christmas sweater/shirt contest and raffle baskets will be part of the fun.

Outlaw Meats will be open Dec. 8 to take orders for Christmas gifts.

LaCrosse Community Pride will offer boxes of all-occasion greeting cards for sale at a table at the craft fair.

LaCrosse branch library will sponsor “ornament making for kids” from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the library.
