Serving Whitman County since 1877
More than 100 people enjoyed the Perkins House Vintage Holiday Open House Saturday, Dec. 8. Holiday music was performed by two local singing groups: Tapestry, a local women's singing group led by Liza Dailey, and Harmoniums, a singing group from Colfax High School led by Maarika Vercamer, who heads the vocal music department there.
All are invited to view the new, huge, decorated tree which is on display in the front music room of the Perkins House. Because it is so impressive in size, it has been named "Tree–zilla." It will remain lit at night through December.
Donations of food generated by this event will be delivered to the food bank.
