Tekoa/Rosalia boys booked a split over the weekend to bump their record to 3-3. The Timberwolves were out-paced by Liberty on the Lancers court Friday 67-51, but they defeated Reardan 67-51 in the Saturday round at Rosalia.
Craig Mueller led TR with 19 points in the Friday round. Other scorers were Garrett Naught 7, Noah Beach 1, Riley McLain 10, Mitchell Billings 11 and Joe Rerecich 3.
Saturday at Rosalia in another league round, TR rolled to the 67-51 win with McLain dropping 18 points and Naught hitting 17. Also scoring were Gehring 15, Beach 10, French 1, Billings 1 and Rerecich 2.
TR girls sustained defeats on both nights and are still in a search for a win. They were hammered 65-18 Friday at Liberty where Maisie Burnham put up 17 points for the Lancers.
Scoring for TR were Elise Wilkins 7, Emily Kramer 4, Meaghan Billings 4, Tori McLain 2, and Paige Brown 1.
Saturday at Rosalia, Reardan topped TR 61-26. Hannah Theis hit 10 for the hosts and Wilkins hit 8. Also scoring were Billings 4, Brown and Kramer each 2.
The Timberwolf teams were slated to play a non-league round Wednesday night at St. John.
