BAIL REDUCED ON PROWL SUSPECT

Bail for pre-trial release of Hunter Haley, 25, Reardan, was reduced from $10,000 to $1,000 cash Friday morning in Whitman County Superior Court. Haley faces six charges of second-degree theft related to an investigation of a vehicular prowl case at Rosalia. Haley has been in jail here since Nov. 21. His original bail for pre-trial release was set at $100,000 surety or $10,000 cash.

Haley’s mother told the court her son would reside with his father on a ranch in the Cheney area while awaiting trial. She said Haley needs to undergo treatment for drug use. She also...
