RFP for an Electronic Timekeeping System

WHITMAN COUNTY

STATE OF WASHINGTON

Sealed RFP’s will be received for the following proposal by Jessica Jensema of Whitman County, State of Washington, at its Auditor’s Office in the Whitman County Courthouse in Colfax, Washington, until 5 p.m. Pacific Time, on April 30, 2019. The RFP’s will be reviewed by designated staff and the Whitman County Board of County Commissioners. A notification of recommendation will be made to the Whitman County Board of Commissioners on July 29th 2019. The selected contract will go to the Whitman County Board of County Commissioners for approval and signatures on August 5, 2019.

Each RFP is to be separately sealed in an envelope addressed to Jessica Jensema with the name of the company and RFP item, including time and date of opening written plainly on the outside of the envelope. (NO FAXES ACCEPTED.)

The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all RFP’s or to accept the RFP which in its estimation best serves the interests of Whitman County.

You are invited to bid on a General Contract for modernization construction for the Colfax School District’s 2018 Bond Projects. The project consists of a renovation of the original gymnasium (approximately 9,500 SF), and complete re-roofing of Jennings Elementary School, and the complete renovation of Colfax High School (approximately 92,600 SF), including Site Work, Structures, Finishes, Fire Protection, Mechanical, and Electrical work.

Preliminary Estimate:

Base Bid: $12,600,000

Proposals will be accepted by the District until 3:00 pm (Base Bid) and 4:00 pm (Alternates and Subcontractor List), prevailing time, on Thursday, February 28, 2019, at the Colfax School District Office at 1207 North Morton Street, Colfax, Washington 99111. Base Bid and Alternate proposals will be opened publicly and read aloud at 4:00pm. Interested parties are invited to attend.

Positions Due Notice

The Pine Creek Conservation District is pleased to announce an opportunity to contribute to conservation and your community by serving on the Board of Supervisors. Supervisors are public officials who direct the activities of the Conservation District. Although they serve without compensation, they are eligible to be reimbursed for appropriate expenses. Two positions are available, one elected and one appointed. For the elected position, interested candidates must submit a completed Candidate Information Form to the district by the filing deadline of 5:00 PM, February 13, 2019. 2019 Election Due Notice

Pine Creek Conservation District adopted a resolution at their December 12th, 2018 board meeting setting an election for an expiring elected board position on the Pine Creek Conservation District Board. The election will be held March 13, 2019 at the District Office, 401 S. State Route 27, Oakesdale, WA. Polls will open at 1:00 PM and close at 5:30 PM. Registered voters who reside within the Conservation District boundary are eligible to vote. Elections procedures are available at the district office.
