Youngs welcome a new grandson

Greg and Connie Young have welcomed a grandson into their family. William Cody Cox, to be called Cody, was born to Ben and Andrea Cox, Richland, at 1:28 Friday, Feb. 1, at seven pounds, five ounces. He joins sisters Camille, six, and Claire, four. Mother and baby are both doing fine.

Jim Appel and his father-in-law, Bill Fairgrieve, spent Friday and Saturday with Dick and Helen Appel. Jim lives in Yakima and Bill in Oak Harbor. They were here to butcher two lambs.

Dale and Vicki Broeckel and Gary and Diane Monson were in Richland on Thursday to visit with Ralph and Marilyn Blevins. Palmer and Betty Edinger, Sherwood, Ore., joined them for lunch.

Vicki Broeckel joined six other artists for a collective exhibit at the Libey Gallery at The Center at Colfax Library. The paintings and photographs by these artists will be regularly rotated throughout the year.

Correction: Dana, Derek and Darin Repp (not Erickson) traveled to Brazil for a mission trip to Camp Victoria. It was incorrectly reported in last week's column.
