Whitman County Planning issued a Determination of Nonsignificance (DNS) under the State Environmental Policy Act Rules (Chapter 197-11 WAC) for the following project:
Whitman County proposes amendments to its zoning ordinances Chapter 19.10 – Agricultural District, adding clarifying language to the creation of residential parcels and the issuance of Rural Housing Certificates (RHC); clarifying the boundary line adjustment process in relation to residential parcels less than 20 acres; modifying the Rural Residential Site Review (RRSR) process; changing the commercial agricultural operator’s appeal time of an RHC from 20 days to 10 business days; and amending the language for the design and construction of residential driveways to reflect a change in the Fire Code; and Chapter 19.12 – Cluster Residential District, amending the language for the design and construction of residential driveways to reflect a change in the Fire Code.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Whitman County Commissioners will, up to the hour of 10:15 a.m. on the 1st day of April 2019, receive sealed bids for county printing for the year July 1, 2019, and ending June 30, 2020. INVITATION FOR BIDS
Sealed bids for the Town of Rosalia 2019 Water/Sewer Improvements project, will be received at the Town of Rosalia, Town Hall, 110 W. Fifth St.,
Rosalia, WA 99170 until 10:00 a.m., February 28, 2019, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read.
Base Bid: The project generally consists of work to install new water main and service connections on Fairview Ave. from 4th Street to 8th Street, telemetry upgrades at the reservoir, and related items of work.
Additive Alternate 1: Continues water line work on Fairview Avenue to 9th Street, then down 9th Street to the intersection at Josephine Avenue. It also consists of removing and replacing a manhole and associated sewer pipe.
Additive Alternate 2: Additive Alternate 2 consists of work to install new sewer main, lateral connections, manhole replacement, new water main, and associated work on 1st Street from Whitman Avenue to Summit Avenue.

All work performed on this project will be subject to the higher of the
