New wrestler wins

June Patnode, a second grader at Jennings Elementary in Colfax, placed fifth in the elementary girls 60-68 pound division at the WSWA Folkstyle Tournament on Feb. 17 in the Tacoma Dome. A first-year wrestler, she also placed first in the Women's Columbia Cup in Richland March 3 in both freestyle and folkstyle events, as pictured above.
