Palouse Falls in winter mode

Palouse Falls remains in its winter mode with giant icicles hanging from the walls of the basin late Saturday afternoon. People who are considering a visit to the falls are advised that the two-mile entrance road to the viewing area is in poor condition with thawing underway. Despite the poor road, a steady stream of vehicles managed to navigate the road and see the view.
