Flood damages Chipman Trail

Flood conditions on April 9 flooded Paradise Creek and caused damage to the Bill Chipman Trail. The Whitman Parks and Recreation Department estimates repair cost will be less than $10,000 with most of it coming from rock, equipment rental and asphalt repair. Full assessment of repairs is expected to be forthcoming.
