Zadferd Arslanian, 2, Steptoe, gets help from his mom Laiken, reeling in a catch at the St. John Fishing Derby Saturday. Two pools stocked with a combined 250 fish in water straight from Rock Lake provided area youth with smiles and squirms. The fish were biting fast on the provided bait. Children also had a chance to play carnival games, get their faces painted and munch free donuts and cupcakes.
