Serving Whitman County since 1877
Rosalia Schools Friday hosted the Trot for Tots walk-a-thon in which students pledge to walk laps for donations. This was the sixth year of the event. The featured charity this year was HOPE School in Spokane. HOPE stands for Hearing Oral Program of Excellence. They provide services/therapy for children ages birth through four years who are dealing with hearing loss.
The goal was to raise $3,000 through the walk-a-thon, which is organized by the Rosalia High School leadership class. In the past five years, this event has raised more than $13,000 for charity. This year's final total is still being tallied.
