Drug charges filed

Formal charges were filed last Wednesday in superior court against the two suspects arrested at Oakesdale May 4 on drug charges. Thomas McBride, 53, Oakesdale, and Everett Johnson, 64, Garfield, were each charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver.

Sheriff's office arrest reports allege baggies of methamphetamine were found on Johnson's person during a search after he was initially stopped for a faulty tail light and was subsequently arrested for driving with a suspended license.
