Vacation Bible camp slated for LaCrosse

Pastor David Wells of United Methodist Church and Pastor John Cross of Selbu Lutheran Church met May 19 with the Community of Faith group which has been working on various projects for the community.

The main topic was this year's Vacation Bible School Day Camp. “Adventure Awaits” will be June 17-21 at United Methodist Church and nearby St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

Three to five-year-olds will be able to attend from 9 a.m. until noon, and first through eight graders will attend from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m .; snacks and lunches are provided.

This is a cost free, non-ecumenical program, although donations are certainly welcomed. Children visiting from outside of LaCrosse are also welcome.

Participants will attend the summer program at the Whitman County Library June 19.
