Mental health first aid training at the Palouse library

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training comes to the Palouse Library on Thursday, May 30, and Friday, May 31, at 6 p.m. During the two day training, participants will identify signs and symptoms of anxiety, depression and other mental illnesses; learn how to respond if you see these signs in youth, friends and loved ones and connect persons to appropriate professional, peer and self-help care.

There is a $10 book fee and participants must be 18 years or older. This training is sponsored by Palouse Federated Church, Xenodican Club and the Friends of the Palouse Library.
